Artist Bio

I have recently graduated from MIAD from the Interior Architecture and Design program, focusing on the design and building of furniture and interiors. I have been working the last few years for various furniture makers and construction companies. I have experience in rough framing and fine woodworking, particularly enjoying hand cut joinery and hand tool work.

My thesis project senior year was a large white oak credenza in which I used a wide set of skills across design and build. I used SketchUp and rendering software to make interior renders of the space, informational diagrams, and section views. I also used hand planes to surface every flat surface of the credenza. The design features spring joined panels, hand cut dovetails, kerf and steam bent components, and a set of tambour doors.
